Four-Day Wrestling Competition Wraps Up in Barra A Four-day wrestling jamboree has just ended in Barra in the north bank region which ran from Wednesday to Saturday and was organized by Bull Falleh Promotions and Muhammed Joom as the first edition of free style wrestling. The wrestling competition witnessed for the first time in Barra a single Boree Dorr incorporated in these four day competition as the grand combat between Double Tyson of Kololi Mbollo and Karang which was won by Double Tyson of Bakau Geumsa Bopa and another special combat that was battled between Mama Lamin of Barra and Okocha which ended nil. Other activities during the competitions includes Rauw Gardou and out of 33 wrestlers in this category Eto won the final against Ado Sarr, while another category of wrestlers includes the Powerlurr or powerful and was also won by American who defeated Setou Baye in the final. The final on the last day of the four days competition resumed from the quarter finals where Ben Biram defeated Samsung to booked his place to the semis, American beat Jean, Tijan Faye beat Alagie Sarr and Setou Baye defeated Keur Omar. American conquered BenBiram in the semis while Setou Baye joined him after defeating Tijan Faye for the final which was battle over 10 minutes before American was crowned the champion of the four days competition. American was awarded with a cash prize of D1500 while the runners up Abo Sarr was compensated with D1000 and in the other category of the Rauw Gardou American won a cash of D4000 and Setou Baye went home with D2000 as the runners up As usual the event was dedicated to a special person who is named after the big flag and Muhammed Joom of Bull Falleh Promotion has named this flag after the chairman of the Shepherd and Cattle farmers’ organisation Samba Bah.
