Eat protein at each meal. Protein is the building block of every cell in your body therefore getting an adequate intake ensures your body can repair and rebuild. Protein has a high satiation index than carbs so it helps you to feel fuller for longer. Protein also had a higher thermic effect than carbs and fats meaning the body burns more calories to digest and absorb it. Drink more water. Water helps to hydrate you, flushes out toxins and helps you to regulate your appetite. This is because thirst and hunger trigger the same response in the brain. Most people are chronically dehydrated and eat when they should be drinking water. Cut the crap: Processed foods have no place in our diet. They are pretty much responsible for the obesity and type 2 diabetes epidemics sweeping the world. Its labeled a disease but it really is a chronic mismanagement of food intake. Too much sugar over too long a period results in a down regulation of the bodys insulin receptors meaning the body cannot do anything with the sugar/carbs that you eat.
