Four NEW shuttle buses for UWS! UWS in partnership with uwsconnect are changing the way you move; in an exciting development for semester 2, four new buses will be joining the current fleet which services the Hawkesbury, Penrith, Campbelltown, Parramatta and Bankstown Campuses. Shuttle bus operations on Hawkesbury, Penrith and Campbelltown campuses have seen a large growth in the number of staff and students using the service, and to support this three larger buses will be included into the existing routes. The fourth new bus will join the Bankstown campus. The UWS shuttle bus service started on Bankstown in semester one 2013 and has received great support for the 1st half of the year. The new bus will provide a disabled accessible vehicle onto this campus for Semester 2 to complement the existing services. A new GPS tracking system is also close to release for the shuttle bus service and more information will be available soon. As the autumn semester is coming to a close the shuttle buses will change their operational hours during the exam period (11th-29th June) and semester break (1 – 26th July).
