He funded and launched the Israeli Institute for National Strategy and Policy, which will operate within the framework of Tel Aviv University in Israel. He is also close friends with many top Israeli officials such as Ehud Olmert, Ariel Sharon, Bibi Netanyahu, and Ehud Barak. He was implicated in an Israeli Bank Scandal with Olmert.
