Four weeks ago today I woke up feelilng OK. By lunchtime I could not take a step without excruciating pain in my lower back/hip joint. After two weeks of this pain and every home remedy possible, I finally went to the doctor on Monday who prescribed a 6 day oral steroid packet. Last Friday I went to OrthoCarolina and the specialist ordered a MRI guided pin point injection into the joint which was done Wednesday. I was told to eat light, bring a driver and drink lots of water before the procedure and then signed the paper that makes you want to run out if the office if only you felt like it. I was told it could take 4 to 5 days for the injection to take full effect so Im hoping that is true. They certainly were right that it would feel pretty bad and sore for a few days. Lots of prayers have helped me through. Thanks to my friends who sent prayers and messages wondering how I am doing.
