Four years ago today I began my day like any other day deciding what I was going to do, as I was unemployed. I dont really recall what I had planned other than I was picking up Alan from work and we were going to the auto show in the evening. As the day progressed I watched the news, some day time talk shows waiting for Alan to finish work. I left early to pick him up and went for a drive and ended up at T&T Supermarket on Keefer and bought myself some pastries. Getting back to the car I opened the one to eat and ended up with cream all over my mouth. All of a sudden my cell phone rang and the call display told me it was our Adoption Agency. I hesitated answering the call, as I had been in communication with them recently and wasnt really into talking with them. Just before the call would have gone to voicemail I engaged the call…and was told we had been picked, finally. March 30, 2010 was the day we became parents to a beautiful little girl we named Isabel Grace. It has been an incredible experience being her dads for the last four years and she grows more gorgeous with each passing day.
