Fourth Virtue---- Souch Souch means Suctita- cleanliness. Cleanliness is Godliness. We must keep ourselves clean. Now how we can keep ourselves clean? The answer is very easy as we all know what is the meaning of cleanliness. No so easy in spiritual term. There are two types of cleanliness- external cleanliness and inner cleanliness. Taking daily bath with disinfectants in water keeps our skin clean. Wearing washed dresses on the body protect our skin too and it looks good. Keeping our rooms, house and surroundings devoid of rubbish and dirt also a part of external cleanliness. But is that all?? What about inner cleanliness? A person maintaining all sorts of cleanliness externally can be a very dirty person if he or she is devoid of any virtue. If some one in his/her personal life is engaged with corruption, violation of rules of the society and get involved with all sorts of mean act, for him to embark on the quest of Self Realisation and Spirituality is just a blind man who look for a lost small pin. So getting rid of the trait, behavior, life style, thoughts which is detrimental for oneself and the others is the main course of action that one must take. Trying to be perfect and just in all aspect of life is the true cleanliness. This is the process where by we get rid of the inner dirt from our life and make our mind free of pollutions. If that is not done by the process of conscious choice and daily practice then many bacterias in the nature of Sins infect us making us sick enough to lead a Spiritual life.
