Karl Rove was humiliated two years ago after he refused to concede when Fox News had called Ohio for Obama, but not this night. Roger Ailes election team couldnt contain their excitement after getting stomped on in 2012, so they ventured off into the truly bizarre as Chris Wallace, Karl Rove and the hapless Joe Trippi, dressed up as campaign cowboys so they could yuck it up. Wallace: Howdy partners. Baier: Oh dear, really? Wallace: Yep, I know I look ridiculous but I figure by this time of the evening youre wither drunk or you have a sense of humor so were going to go on this way. karl? We are the campaign cowboys so we said we would do this.. Rove: Head em up, move em out Wallace: Now listen and listen good, partner... I understand that the GOP would be ecstatic over the results they had, but for Fox News to join in the celebration as a triumphant dark money SuperPAC was surreal.
