Fr. Joseph Langan, recently ordained, states what attracts him most to the priesthood: ~The sacramental conformity of a priest to Jesus Christ allows him to be a unique conduit of grace for the salvation of souls. Indeed, without priests, we do not have the sacraments, which are the very streams of life-giving grace, rushing forth from the pierced Heart of Our Savior, cleansing the world from sin. As such, I am mostly attracted to the sacramental/liturgical roles of a priest, most especially at Mass, and in Confession.~
