Fractured Ankle Update: 8 weeks since tib/fib# L ankle, 8 weeks this Sunday since surgery to repair the ankle with plate and screws. The cast has been off 1½ weeks and I have been somewhat weight bearing in an air cast but quite still painful and the area is swollen by the end of the day. Back to work Monday on modified hours / accommodations with air cast. Official Physiotherapy has begun; however, I have been working hard on my own since cast was removed.
