FrameWorks Studio and Gallery 2103 Walnut St Philadelphia PA 19103 FrameWorks Studio and Gallery is seeking a new part-time Sales Associate and Framer. We are looking for a creative individual capable of communicating the how and why of design choices with customers in a friendly working manner, as well as performing the completion end of framing; mounting, fitting, and closing frames. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, capable of MacGuyveresque small scale engineering feats, and above all concerned with taking care of the materials customers bring in to be framed. Duties include; Assisting customers with making matting and framing selections, Cutting mats, glass and other materials, Joining frames, mounting artwork, Fitting and closing frames, Shop maintenance, and a Willingness to tackle the unexpected. Located in the Rittenhouse section of Center City FrameWorks Studio and Gallery is a neighborhood staple. Originally opened in 1976 as a Do-It-Yourself framing shop, FrameWorks has shifted focus offering custom framing, readymade frames, prints and gifts. With the opening of the gallery space in 2012 FrameWorks is now also a showcase for local Artists and the various indigent creative talent in Philadelphia.
