The American government and Amnesty International had in the past complained about gross human right violation the American government went ahead to place an Activity Advance Request on nations that are desirous to selling arms to Nigeria this is serious threat not just to punish nations that would sell arms to Nigeria but also nations or entities if they failed to intercept or inform the American government of Nigeria efforts to purchase arms from any other source. This was what lead to the cash-for-arm imbroglio that made the South African government to seize an air plane and the $9.3 meant for arm purchase ostensibly from the black market This arm saga had generated a lot of brouhaha with accusation and counter accusation, it took both political and religious colouration. The Americans with her overbearing attitude and double standard in her self appointed police of the world has become nauseating. Can the Americans pontificate on human right violation when it comes to fighting terrorism? What about the guantanamo, waterboarding, war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq.......... ? Or why is she blinded to human right abuses in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, united kingdom, Italy....? Why will the American decide to set aside rules guiding war contained in the Geneva connection any time she is at war but insist on it when others are at war? The Americans penchant for double standard and protection of American interest has been taken beyond the limit of decorum and diplomacy. When one remember that it was the same America that predicted the dismemberment of Nigeria in 2015 one can only say to them S-C-R-A-M !
