Francisco Javier “N”, 36, was arrested in the federal highway that takes to San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, after he threatened his ex wife with a machete, said the Municipal Public Safety Department. Authorities said the suspect was detained at Federal Highway 2 after he allegedly crashed his ex wife’s vehicle. The victim, a 24-year-old woman who has a three month pregnancy, was with her mother at the car. However, authorities did not disclose who the driver in which the women were traveling was. After the women stopped the car, the suspect apparently followed his ex-wife with a machete. Authorities were able to arrest the suspect. No injuries were reported. The suspect was presented before a prosecutor to begin with his processing.
