Frank Sultana will be Ross Fear’s studio guest on Alive 90.5 Australian Spectrum Show at 9pm on Tuesday 6 January announcing his 2015 tour and featuring his blues/roots music and previewing his soon to be released ‘Live At The Vanguard’ album. Sydney blues rock n rollers Frank Sultana and the Sinister Kids are back for another east coast summer tour! The Blue Light District Tour will take in all the east coast capital cities as well as regional centres and Tasmania and appearing at some fantastic music festivals including the Thredbo Blues Festival on Jan 16/17/18th, the Moonshine Festival in Port Stephens on Feb 21st and the Forth Valley Blues Festival in Tasmania on March 21st. Frank Sultana and the Sinister Kids tip their collective hats to the great Mississippi Delta bluesmen of the 1930s, as well as the reckless abandon of the 1960s. With influences ranging from Son House and Skip James, through to Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, as well as more contemporary artists like Tom Waits and Nick Cave, they dwell comfortably in this vintage stylistic world, where the song is still king, and nothing beats a great story.
