If Mauricio was trying to get information from them, he had laid the trap well. Was Mauricio just curious, or was he fishing to see if he had been spotted? Michael suspected that it was Mauricio who had been in the gadget room. If he hadn’t just had the meatsaw conversation with his mother he wouldn’t have given it a second thought. There was definitely something fishy at Franklin and Mauricio had something to do with it, of that, Michael was sure. He decided to answer Mauricio’s question. “I left and came back, and when I tried the door again, it opened,” said Michael. It wasn’t a lie! Not exactly the truth, but it definitely wasn’t a lie.
