Frankly, I think its misguided. I dont think the problem is printing fiat currency. If you eliminate capitalism there are other options. But the issue now is how do you function sensibly in a state capitalist economy. And you cannot do that without a central bank. The current deficit is Bushs tax cuts, the crazy wars, and the criminal behavior of the corporate system that led to the financial crisis. ― Noam Chomsky
