Fraudsters continue to perfect their act with each passing day. Do not be deceived by the fact that the friend request you get is from a person whose Facebook page was opened several months or years ago with some respectable names on their friends list. I just discovered that these scammers now open several accounts and keep them active under different false names until they are ready to strike with the fake accounts. All the while they would pose as monitoring spirits, studying their victims and assessing their worth and vulnerability. So one of them posing as a woman with terminal illness who wants to give her savings to the poor in Africa engaged me today minutes after I accepted a friend request from her. Before accepting, I did a little due diligence. I went to her page and studied those on her friends list. I noted the account dated back to last year unlike about four of such who tried their luck with me during the week which were just opened days ago and bearing only flowers all over their pages in place of pictures. I promptly blocked them. So here is our fraudster of the week and the chat I had with her inbox! Please be wise.
