Frday night was an eventful night . Here in Melbourne we were warned on sever winds to come in the evening...... Started with Ally Croxfordand I going to feed KT Anne puss , Lexi . Then off to Target for bargains . Almost lost my doors in my new car when we opened them The wind was just so bad . Then stop off to buy cat food, on way out of shopping centre saw 2 distressed dogs run into shopping centre only to be chased out to the street by an idiot wanna be cop security guard . Stupid, stupid woman..... Caught dogs with @Ally Croxford ( our scarves will never smell the same but served as good leads) , surrounded by several bystanders also interested In saving dogs , called several vets in the hope we could see if they were microchipped , my goodness cant someone have a person answer after hrs for emergencies , I guess no money in it.... called emergency animal shelter would not come unless dogs injured , yes was tempted to lie...... refused to let bystanders call the local council for the fear the dogs were not registered and to save owners a possible fine ... called all local vets grrrrrrrrrrr where are you when animals need you..... put the back seats down in my new car, got one dog in , harder to get other one in, took advice from a bystander lovely man who said "dont do it they will wreck your leather seats... one of the bystanders Adam took them home to keep safe with the help of a lovely lady who put in her ute. Then determinded as we Croxies are we went driving around in the almost gale force winds determined to find a vet hiding in a clinic with their lights on working late with the thought of borrowing microchip reader .. No luck ............ But guess what we found another distressed dog running across highway , M and A to the rescue again, scarve came in handy again as a lead , up into my boot , local police hovering around... mmmm did that idiot security guard get my rego and report me (yes I was not nice to her, dont ever come between my family or animals in need) . Just as we were about to drive off not knowing what we would do with the new passenger and then, along came a car with a family , ïs this your dog ."I asked and family said they would take home and look after ( as they live local and we didnt ) .... ..... posted on Fb ........ First 2 beauties have now been reunited with their family ... Hopefully the same result for last dog a beautiful golden retriever with the best nature (was tempted ) Thinking now Ally and I should think about a career change ... saving lost and unwanted pets. all I need is Tatts numbers to come up tonight.. please tattslotto roll my numbers out for a nice bday pressie :). mmm job well done feeling good
