Free App!!! (Free) Bamba Burger. I use this app for expressive language and following one and two step directions. Its especially helpful with reluctant talkers. Kids get to make their own fast food meal complete with burger, fries, drink and toy. There are a lot of choices for kids to make (and lots to talk about). They can choose from 10 buns ranging from a regular bun to a cake to rotted green bun complete with worms and bugs. Next they fry a burger (flipping the burgers requires you to quickly move the iPad up and down-most 3 year olds cant manage it. Another option for flipping the burger would be great.). Then they choose what to put on the burger. This step can be easily used for following directions-first put the lettuce on and then the ketchup. The kids love the crazy options in this step. Available toppings include toilet paper, bananas, sunflowers, fish, gumdrops, chocolate and toothpaste along with the standard lettuce, onions and pickles. Making a drink includes some more silly options. Then they can make fries including slicing the potatoes and putting them in and out of the fryer. Use a cash register to choose the cost (from 1-9), then put the appropriate number of coins in the register. Finally, eat the food, slurp down the drink and play with the toy. - Joanna bit.ly/1v56PTm
