Free Easter dinner! Norm had to work today...so I went through the freezer. Found ham and cinnamon rolls leftover from Christmas. Cooking up a turnip (rutabaga) that has been sitting in the fridge since St Pattys day. Have an orange that is getting punky so will use that as a glaze for carrots. Potatoes that are going bad for mashed potatoes. Had boiled up pineapple cores and froze...will use as a glaze for the ham.... along with a little rum/raisins/molasses/sugar/spices. Tis a Chopped type of meal. Should have not said free... but it is all stuff that we have and never used....not a penny was spent in prep on todays Holiday meal outside of previous $ that would have gone to waste.
