Free MONDAY MOVIES continue throughout the month of February at Abingdon Senior Center. Admission is free, popcorn and soft drinks are available with a suggested donation of 25 cents each. Melanie Carmichael, a rising fashion designer in New York, has gotten almost everything she wished for since she was little: a great career and the JFK-like fiancée of New York City. But when he proposes to her, she doesnt forget about her family back down South - including a husband back there, who refuses to divorce her despite the divorce papers she sent even years ago. To set matters straight, she decides to go south – quick - and make him sign the papers. When things dont turn out the way she planned them, she realizes that what she had before in the south was far more perfect than the life she has in New York City.
