Free Public Lecture – Indigenous Food Sovereignty - MARCH 29 Indigenous Food Sovereignty and Earth Democracy Dr. Vandana Shiva, world-renowned environmental activist, is giving a free public lecture, Earth Democracy, following a Feast of Forgotten Foods. Event organizers, The Powers House Producers, are a small Winnipeg-based group who work to promote, teach, and revive food freedom rights.
