Free Womens Clinic at PHWC Monday, March 10, 5:30-8:30 PM. These clinics are specifically for uninsured and underinsured women in the greater central Vermont area, and are by appointment only. Call 479-1229 to reserve your appointment time. Services include full physical exam, Pap test, breast exam, mammogram appointment, pelvic exam, self-care instruction, diet, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching, and referrals to specialists as necessary. Assistance with application and enrollment in health insurance and other financial assistance programs is also provided. There is no cost to the patient for the exam, mammograms, Pap smears, or other tests, although donations are welcome. This is a joint project of the People’s Health & Wellness Clinic, Central Vermont Medical Center, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Ladies First.
