Free and open to the public: Citizens Forum on Border Security and Radical Islam Thursday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Floresville High School Auditorium This event is an educational forum to inform the public about issues along the border and how radical Islam plays into the border security. Sheriff Joe Tackitt will introduce the event and welcome guests. Speakers are: Lt. Col. Roy White (Ret.) who speaks about radical Islam, Jim Gibson, spokesman for the Texas Border Volunteers, and or featured speaker, Dr. Jeffrey Addicott, terrorism expert with St. Mary’s School of Law.
