Free birds is more of a thanksgiving ride 4 kids than any1else. I was expecting more laughs, gags & fun, instead i found myself incredibly bored. The bland jokes barely made me chuckle until towards the end & the whole 1st half of the flick is filled with flat & unamusing lines. The action only picks up in the last 30 mins or so. It ends like a cross between back 2 the future & brave heart! which is when the comedy & sight gags finaly come 2 the feast. Theres a brief funny reference 2 the little angry birds game & the baby turks r quite peepishly cute. The voice talents of owen wilson, woody harrelson, george takei, amy poehler, keith david & colm meany just manage 2 keep this dry turkey from getting the axe. Side note: this must have 1 of the best revelations close 2 the finish ive seen in an animated film & stay 4 the creds 4 a great joke if you didnt fall asleep.
