As we have seen on reality shows such as Storage Wars, you take your chances when bidding on a locker or shed. Bright was hoping to find something in the shed to at least cover the cost of the purchase and hopefully turn a profit. A couple of days later, Bright was going through the locker’s contents when he opened a stained cardboard box, With this shed, he got a little more than he bargained for. Inside the box, he found the decomposed and mummified remains of an infant. Thomas stopped right there and called the Grand County Sheriff’s Department. When they arrived, they found two more babies. All three had been wrapped in blankets and garbage bags and placed inside boxes. Investigators went over the records for the shed and soon learned that it had last been rented by Dianne O’Dell in 1991. Dianne had stopped making the payments back in 1994. The contents of the shed had remained untouched until 2003. The babies in the boxes had apparently been resting in the shed for 12 years. The detectives needed to find Diane O’Dell. When they finally tracked her down, she was living 2,000 miles away in Pennsylvania.
