Freedom. I find it really hypocritcal and funny at the same time that some people go out of their way to thank military veterans for serving and fighting for the freedom that Americans cherish AND then they denounce those same veterans for exercising that freedom to live, work and buy where and what they want from whom they want. Specifically I am talking about military vets getting knocked because they chose to purchase a cue case from me. Because my shop is in China they deride these vets for buying foreign made cue cases. Now, I am a veteran as well, and the way I see it is that I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. I didnt take an oath to protect anyones job, I didnt take an oath to build a wall around the United States. I took an oath to defend the principles on which America was founded. There is nothing in the Constitution that says American should only use products made in the USA. Nothing that says we shouldnt trade with the rest of world. Veterans who served and those who serve are defending the RIGHT of all Americans to associate with whomever they choose to, to buy from whomever they choose to. I am not saying that others cant have an opinion about it. If you think everything should be American made then you can think that - thats what FREEDOM is for. The right to have and share a dissenting opinion. You can also go off on vets who dont share your view, but MY OPINION is that its a disgusting PERVERSION of what FREEDOM is for someone to say that another person, especially one who served, should not enjoy the freedom that America is built on.
