Freedom does not mean doing what your mind pleases. True freedom means you are free to do the Right thing at the right time. The fact that you have been given free will also means that you will inevitably bear the consequences of your actions. Earth is a school where you come to repay past debts, to undergo training and testing and fulfill your spiritual goals. How you go through this in entirely up to you. You can face life bravely or complain and feel victimized. You can make strong moral choices and nourish your soul or give in to temptations and feed the ego. Nurture your Spirit or watch it wither. Only you can determine the progress of your soul by the choices you make every moment of your life.
