Freedom is born in a Manger... We Cry Freedom! For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. Colossians 1:13-20 The Freedom Revolution continues through His body, the church. A church on mission with God is a delight to Jesus Christ. He deserves our best! Three offerings we can give to Jesus this Christmas are: Pray Constantly - A movement of Gods glory through our church in this generation will be characterized by extraordinary prayer. Pray for the persecuted church, pray for the harvest and the laborers for the harvest. Pray for Gods kingdom to come in our community, our city, the nation, and to the ends of the earth.... a 30 minute video overview of the mission of our church can be seen at vimeo/113292004 Give Generously - The resources for this harvest are within our church. Pray that God will release them as we give generously and receive the blessing. Pray for wise stewardship of the funds for the sake of the kingdom. Our Christmas Mission Offering goal is $565,000 to meet our mission budget. We are still short of this goal. The only possible way to meet this goal is a work of the Spirit in our church leading us all to give generously. If God provides the funds we can trust He will use them for His glory! Go Expectantly - Go in the power and effectiveness of the Holy Spirit, expecting He will do even greater things as you enter His activity in obedience. Look at the new mission calendar you should have received at your home. There are opportunities each month to GO and enter the activity of God coming forth from our church both locally and globally. There are teams forming now for the March LUKE 10 mission in Delhi, India. There is ongoing ministry in the refugee community, in Houstons Third Ward, at Second Mile Mission Center, and more. There will be Gospel training and Prayer-walk Gospel thrusts into our community the last weekend of every month. Reply to this email and we will help you on this journey. Lets GO!
