Freedom of information request to NCC Dear ask Could you please answer the following Ncc have sold / transferred or other our tax payer owned Assetts to arch Housing or one of its associated companies. Can you please confirm 1 detail each assett sold transferred or other from NCC to arch / its companies ? 2 for what amount did each assett sell for ? 3 was this/these sales legal ? No competitive marketing , opportunity for others to bid, NCC being seen to get the best price for us taxpayers was evident / took place . 4 On 27 th March 2013 NCC sold OUR land on quayside at Blyth to Arch( above will confirm ). Just two days later (29 th March 2013)this land ( tax payer owned just two days earlier ) achieved enterprise zone status attracting tens of millions of pounds of govt monies. Days later Arch secured £11 million pounds against / for less than 2% of the land amount bought !!! At what committee and who was I. Attendance was such decision made to sell our lucrative pieces of land ? 5 at what NCC committee / who decided ,to allow arch to take our allocated market place/ town centre monies £1 million pounds 6 can NCC get arch to meet us / inform us what they are about etc . The Arch management display an arrogance of untouchable. Ignore all requests to answer genuine questions . They must be reminded , it is OUR money they are using and we want to know what is going on with it ? In anticipation of a prompt response Barry Elliott
