Freedom of speech now censored by Mr. Ferguson 28 Oct 2013 I would like to be put on the agenda. For the next public meeting Monday 11, 2013 I am requesting the board allow me up to 10 minutes to bring some very specific concerns related to the Dawkins Community . Please advise me of your approval as soon as possible . Jeff Schaffer 29 Oct 2013 Dear Mr Schaffer I happen to be on the phone with Chairman Ferguson as your email was coming in. I made him aware of the contents of your request. Chairman Ferguson asked me to convey to you that he would like for you to email him (via my email, at sbrown@fairfieldsc) covering the specific items you wish to address. Shryll M. Brown 29 Oct 2013 Dear Mrs. Brown Thank you for being so prompt with your reply. Im a little concerned that the chairmen wants to hear specific concerns before he will permit me extended time! I think we should relate to Mr. Ferguson. First I am a recognized voice of the Dawkins Community Association. Secondly, I will cover as many as I can express with the hopes of getting a response to them in the time frame given. However, If an example is necessary, I might want to discuss the length of time devoted to the recreation bond money, approval, discussion, debate ,debacle, and disaster! And that is just for starters. Looking forward to a prompt reply from Mr. Chairmen I remain respectfully yours , Jeff Schaffer 6 November 2013 Dear Mr. Schaffer, Chairman Ferguson asked me to follow up with you on this request. He asked that I convey to you that he has no problem with permitting you the extended time; however, prior to placing you on the Council meeting agenda, he is asking that you please submit to the Council (via sbrown@fairfieldsc) a specific, written outline of what you desire to discuss. Thank you, 6 Nov 2013 Am I to understand that my initial response to his request was not sufficient enough ? 6 Nov 2013 Dear Ms Brown: Would Mr. Ferguson please give me EXACTLY what he feels will be sufficient. What would he like me to say? Or, does he want to pre approve my entire 10 minute presentation? I do not have it prepared . Nor am I going to make a power point presentation unless that is what he is eluding too. I remain respectfully yours , Jeff Schaffer Nov 6, 2013 at 2:25 PM, Shryll Brown wrote: Dear Mr. Schaffer, Chairman Ferguson asked me to follow up with you on this request.
