Freedom video from Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center! Kimberly Childs found these two dogs traveling together in her neighborhood. They had no collars nor were they microchipped. Because Kimberly didnt have a place to keep them until the owners could be located she was forced to take them to the shelter. Sadly no one ever stepped up to claim these wonderful dogs. During their three day mandatory stray hold Kimberly worked hard to find a place for these dogs to go. With her hard work two fosters were found and applications submitted. The large dog, now named Winston, worked well in his new home and the rumor is the family already plans to adopt him. Ripley, the 7 month old, neutered, 32 pound whippet/lab mix (best guess) was not received well by the resident dog in his foster home. So he still needs a place to go. Ripley is super sweet, playful, and great with other dogs and all people. If you can help out over the holiday and offer a place for this handsome boy please let us know by emailing us at foster@takemehomepetrescue or complete the online foster application at takemehomepetrescue.
