French Film Festival @ the French Institute The film by Jalil Lespert “YSL” on the life of Yves Saint Laurent will open the 15th French Film Festival on March 19, marking the beginning of the traditional spring rendezvous of Francophone cinema with the Greek public. In all, 47 films will be screened at the French Institute and the movie theatre Danaos-Embassy Nova Odeon. Nine of these are participating in the competition section and are being released in for Greece the first time. The famous actress Nathalie Baye, who is the president of the festival, will be honored with a special award. The festival will run until March 26 in Athens and will travel to Thessaloniki from March 27 to April 2, at the movie theatre Pavlos Zannas. ifa.gr/index.php/el/arts-et-culture/cinema/festival-film-francophone
