French firm to provide US$ 1.2 million to boost Mandalay’s infrastructure French-based Sasege Engineering Company will provide US$ 1.2 million (Euro 969,000, Ks 1.77 billion) to central Myanmar’s largest city in order to boost its water supply system, garbage collection and transportation access, according to the Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC). Mainly, we want to change the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) system. At present, we want to launch more advanced bus lines after changing Mandalay’s current transport system,” said Khin May Htay, head of the MCDC’s Roads and Bridges department.
