French investors pump EUR8 million in kaolin plant A new plant designed to enrich kaolin or porcelain clay has been built in the Vinnitsa region at the expense of French investors. Of eight million euros invested in the enterprise, EUR2 million were allocated by the State Bank of France. Reportedly, 30 jobs have been created at the kaolin plant. Today France is one of the top five investors financing the economy of the Vinnitsa oblast. According to Western analysts, however, the latest French statistics have been awful. An income tax came in at EUR10 billion less than last year, despite painful and unpopular tax increases. Growth was 0% in the last trimester and France’s promise to the European Union to bring the annual deficit to 4% was officially broken.
