Frequently Asked Questions 1. What is a sample gown? These are gowns that other bridal store order as their “try-ons” for brides. They are used to try on only inside the store. I go buy them and can offer them to you at great buys! 2. Where do you get your gowns from? All over! You name it California, New Hampshire, Texas, Oklahoma. I am always on the lookout for store closings. I also work with Mary’s Bridal where I can order new gowns and a few other bridal companies. 3. How long have you been doing this? We have been open since September 2013. We have not been around long, but I really enjoy what I do! Most importantly I have been a bride on a budget, so I understand! I took a simple idea of making brides on a budget feel gorgeous and well here I am today! I hope to be around for many more years! 4. Why are your gowns so cheap? Cheap?? How about affordable. I am a shop-a-holic for a good bargain, the more I shop, the better prices I find and keep my over low, the more affordable my gowns are. 5. Do you buy gowns/consign gowns? No, we do not buy gowns from individuals. 6. Who can make an appointment? How do I make appointment? Only the bride as they will need to answer some question that only the bride may know. Who can I bring to my appointment? Whomever your heart desires! Just be aware more people = more opinions. I suggest you bring close family and friends whose opinion you value. Kids are welcome, but must be well supervised. 8. What should I wear to my appointment? Undergarments, especially underwear are REQUIRED! If you feel more comfortable with Spanx or any other item like this bring it with you. Any shoes will do. If you have shoes similar to the height you will wear on your wedding day please bring them. FYI: I do not carry strapless bras, please bring your own. 9. How long are your appointments? Generally I block off 2 hours. I would allow at least 1.5 hours. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment please call, I am will not be offended if you cancel, I understand life happens. 10. Do I need an appointment to come take a look around? No. Feel free to stop in during open hours. Just be aware that if we are busy and you decide you would like to try on gowns, it is best you make an appointment, this allows us to ensure the best service for you. 11. What styles, designers and sizes do you carry? I have about 200 dresses in stock, sizes 2-30 and a number of designers. This is ever changing as I generally only buy one dress in a particular size and style. 12. What is your return/exchange policy? We offer a 3 day return policy that is subject to a 20% restocking fee. All items after 3 days are eligible for exchange only. 13. Do you have a payment plan? We do offer a Happy Payment Plan. You are ONLY eligible for this plan if you have at least 6 months to 1 year before your wedding. All gowns regardless of price are subject to at least $100 deposit in order to start the payment plan. Payments are set up on a monthly basis, dress must be paid in full 2 months before wedding date to allow for alterations. Any missed payments are subject to late fees. If you miss a payment, fail to make a payment, fail to contact the store within 10 days of the missed payment, all deposits and payments will be forfeited.
