Freret Project Update: Pavement patching and installing - TopicsExpress

Freret Project Update: Pavement patching and installing ADA-compliant ramps on Freret (Louisiana – Jefferson) to begin Monday, August 19. Crews will begin work at the eastern side of Freret from Louisiana to Napoleon. Starting at the less-congested side (Louisiana – Napoleon) will allow the Sewerage and Water Board to complete the waterline replacement at the 5100 block and the Department of Public Works to re-install the deficient ADA ramps along the corridor. Only one travel lane in one direction will be open. Traffic control for the Freret (Napleon - Jefferson) segment will not be enforced until crews reach that area.
