Fresh fish is a mainstay on Ilha Grande. In the morning local fisherman will stop by the pousada and ask how much fish and what type we want at the end of the day. There is every type available but we love the shrimp, calamari, mussels and white flesh fish from the area. So at the end of the day, the shrimpers will stop by and deliver 5 kilos of fresh caught shrimp right to our dock. Good friends, food and drink make Ilha Grande a paradise!
