Fresh flowers cheer me up, so two days ago I decided to buy a stalk of pink rose. Without knowing anything about flower, I picked it just because of its pretty colour. A bonus for me - it also has a nice fragrance. This reminds me of the beauty of nature and its plants and animals. However, many products around us are no longer natural. Plants and animals are made to grow faster, bigger, cheaper and better to meet the world’s food demand. Do you know how big a chicken is today compared to its size in past decades?
