Freshers Orientation- eDC- IIT Delhi The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (eDC-IIT Delhi) held an orientation session on 13th August 2014 in the Seminar Hall. The primary purpose of the event was to familiarize fellow students to the world of entrepreneurship. Guest lectures from Mr. Priyank Narayan, professor of our own DMS and Founder of Indiapreneurship and Ms Anju Gupta, B. Tech IIT Delhi, PhD Stanford University and co-founder of Ivy Camp Ventures set the tone for the evening. The event was a great success with more than hundred particicpants turning up for the event. The event started with a video about entrepreneurship, followed by an introduction about the cell from Ravish Ratnam, President of eDC IIT Delhi. A presentation and video by Prof. Priyank followed by Ms. Anju’s presentation captured the attention of the crowd. A sell this phone contest was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm. The event was a good platform for freshers to learn about the eDC and by the response, several freshers would be joining up soon.
