Fri. 13/9/2013 God’s Love Shines Through Even In Trial Rom. 8:31-39 During World War II, a prisoner in the concentration camp asked another prisoner who was preaching to her that God loves her “if your God loves you, then why did He send you here?” It is difficult to see that God is love when we are passing through difficulties. We expect that if God loves us, He should shield us from problems which others go through. We need to realize that God can use these problems in our lives so that His ultimate goal for our lives might be accomplished. Without the cross, Jesus would not have won the crown of glory. So when you are tempted to ask “where is God when this problem is coming my way?” God is still where He was when they were nailing His only begotten Son to the cross. Pont of Emphasis: God’s love shines through the thickest cloud and even through the darkest night. Prayer Point: Grant me the clear vision to see your love in my hours of need.
