Fri. 28th (Bless God,) Good Morning saints of the Most High God, Msg. God rewards our faithfulness. .. As we believe God, it prompts us into action.. even in obedience to his commands. - Our scripture reading is taken from ., Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.. *His accompanying actions, after receiving the spoken word, attested to his faith. * Abraham had passed through his wilderness experience .. had been through the valley .. had faced the ultimate test .. And it was counted unto him for righteousness.. his obedience in offering up his only son. By his actions/deeds, his faith and trust in God, was made perfect.. and therefore (he) received a right standing with God, by/through his obedience. * The wait that we wait on God, we see, as that wilderness experience .. From Egypt to the Promised Land.. between the two, was a desert wilderness, barren land.. emptiness, where a total reliance becomes necessary.. for daily sustenance. The wait, by itself is a test . * In our own lives, we also face that waiting period.. We pray God, give us the strength, that sustaining grace for us to persevere, and be found faithful, (so lets ..) Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Praise God. Have a bless day.
