With Music from Chris Jagger’s Acoustic Roots Trio. SMOKY FISH PATE; A blend of smoked mackerel and cod with horseradish, hot sauce and mayonnaise served with salad and toast. BLACKEYED PEA AND PASTA SALAD; Served on a bed of salad leaves with a zesty citrus dressing. JERKED CHICKEN FILLETS; Spiced strips of chicken fillets with salad, salsa and soured cream. ** BATON ROUGE CHICKEN GUMBO; A chicken and prawn stew with chilli, tomatoes, garlic, peppers and okra. JAMBALAYA; A mixed meat paella, with spiced sausage, pork belly, ham, tomato, rice and peppers. CAJUN BEEF OLIVES; Cajun spiced, stuffed minute steaks, braised in red wine and beef stck. BLACKENED SNAPPER; Pan fried Snapper supreme dipped in butter and Cajun spice. STUFFED PEPPERS; Baked bell peppers filled with vegetables and rice in a spiced tomato sauce. ** PECAN PIE A classic Cajun pie with pecan nuts, breadcrumbs and maple syrup filling. CHOCOLATE CHILLI BREAD PUDDING; A rich bread pudding with egg custard, chilli and chocolate, served with a Bourbon sauce.
