Friday A.M upon sitting in the car getting ready to pull out , we sit as the wife places her makeup on as we chat . once finished I back up turn the corner while mind you still in the parking lot. I look in my mirror only to see a shelby township police car behind me , I then look down to relize Id forgot my seatbelt, .. but theres one more dead end lane before leaving the apartment complex before the stop sigh. therefore I turn into it , then into a parking space. getting ready to back up figuring phew , that was a close one , only to hear my wife say: they lit you up!!! as the officer approaces , he then says he stopped us because we sat in the car at the other parking stop for about 5 min. REALLY???? !!!! diddnt know they made a new stating you can not sit and or idle in the car now ... !!!.... when was this law put in place by the way???.... but I was polite , said yes sir , no sir , anything I can help with sir ,... when is the law to be we cannot stand too long???... just asking .... NEXT!!!!!
