Friday Devotion Your Best Shot Read Malachi 1:14 I think its pretty common for people my age to kind of slack off when it comes to God. I know I dont always make God my top priority. Take Sunday mornings, for example. I have one hour set aside during the week when I can go to church with my family, worship God and spend time with other Christians. But almost every week Im late for church. And when Im late, I cheat God out of my time and attention. We can all make excuses about why we cheat God out of our time, our talents or whatever. But really, theres no excuse. God is so good to us and deserves our very best. Even if no one is looking, even if there are no immediate rewards for giving God our best, thats what we need to do.
