Friday (Halloween!!) Update: Both Mom and I are so happy that Nicolas is an extrovert. He loves people and has never met a stranger. This has made his transition into CNS so much easier for us all. He doesnt find it stressful to be around his care providers that stay with him in his apartment and he enjoys the company of the other patients. Ive never sent a child off to their first day of school but I imagine that this is what it feels like. There is an anxiety about separation but a joy that he is capable of being here and is performing his given tasks so well. I thank God for technologies that allow us to stay with him even when we arent physically there. Nicolas is a delightful conversationalist and he now has his phone back 24/7. Feel free to text him and message him with encouragement or a simple hello. He loves texting! Just use grace when getting his responses, he is often confused about where he is and under what circumstances he is doing things. Pray that changes!
