Friday, January 17 UNTIL YOU REACH THE BEST OF YOUR LIMIT John 11:19-45; 12:3 Most times, God may do nothing about your case in spite of prayers, fasting and dedication to God. Year in year out, you might still be looking up to God just for one thing and God could be silent. I want you to know that until you reach the best of your limit, nothing will happen. Until you realize that there is no help somewhere else except from on High, your victory might not come. You must get to a stage where your best has failed before your relief can come. The reason why God waits for such moment is for you to increase in the knowledge of Him, for His glory and for the salvation of many. Three things happened when Jesus showed up to raise Lazarus at the 11th hour when all hope was lost. One, Mary and Martha saw Jesus in another light; they encountered Jesus as the resurrection and the life. Their knowledge of the Lord changed. Two, God was glorified by the delay in the deliverance of Lazarus at a point when no one expected anything favourable and that delay also saved souls. Many who saw what they had never seen before believed and were set free. Friend, that which you are passing through is for God’s glory, for your good and for the salvation of many. God has not forgotten you. He is only waiting for you to get to the best of your limit so as to strengthen you for the fulfillment of your destiny like it happened to Mary. Stay still, worship and wait in faith. Your deliverance is at hand. PRAYER; Father, give me the needed grace to wait for my appointed time of glory in Jesus name.
