Friday, May 3, 2013 Fridays Are Always Good-days YAY! Its Friday! You cant be in a bad mood on Friday. You can always find something to look forward to on the start of the weekend! Today, Rosemary and I cranked up the country tunes in the garage and jammed into our workout. Its totally a redneck thing to do, blastin country music in your garage, but we were in workout leggings and Nikes...not cut-off jean shorty-shorts and cowboy boots! Whatev...I love country music! We did the usual exercises (arm circles, sobriety tests, weighted leg lifts, crunches, and sit-ups/back extensions), but Rosemary threw in a lil something special to our normal 5 minute leg lifts. Yesterday, Rosemary timed me to see how long it was taking me to do 20 alternating weighted leg lifts. It turned out that I increased my speed by about a whole minute. 20 lifts used to take me 5 minutes, now I completed them in 4 mins. With that improvement in mind, Rosemary had me do alternating weighted leg lifts for 10 minutes straight. This should allow for me to walk for a longer period of time...at least, thats what were hoping for!
