Friday Morning Prayer - Worship & Serve - Matthew 4:1-11 Vernon Whaley said, When Gods people turn their hearts 2 biblical worship, there will b social change, & with that change comes ethical & moral accountability. In his book Called 2 Worship he writes that true worship embraces love 4 the people of God demonstrated thru service. Our worship of God cant b isolated from the real world or trapped inside the walls of our secret place. It must impact us to each out to & at times confront the culture around us. N the N T the Pharisees new much about Gods law but didnt have compassion 4 people around them. When The Lord healed people on the sabbath, the Pharisees were critical. But true worshipers exhibit a God-like behavior that touches the lives of others in service. When we enter n2 the needs of other people & begin 2 minister 2 them, we recapture the sense of the wonder of who God is. Find a way 2 serve God & touch the life of Someone around u today. Love ya!
