Friday, November 21 marked our 48th CSA delivery - 44 Main Season and 4 Fall CSA deliveries. Its been a long season and we are so happy to call the CSA done! Brian and Lucy were just getting in the truck to head north to Naperville and I had to beg for these pictures from yesterdays delivery. But, were so glad we stopped for the 2 minutes to snap a couple photos of this farming family. Dont you agree Lucy and Brian make a very good delivery team? Were so proud of Lucy and all our girls for their help and contributions to the farm. We had a tremendous growing season, the organic vegetables were gorgeous, the laying hens behaved themselves and the organic meat was on fire! You folks want our organic pastured meat! And, the eggs. A huge thank you to Naperville - 130 dozen eggs yesterday alone - WOW! We thank ALL our customers in the Peoria and Naperville areas for supporting this local organic farm. We truly appreciate your choice to eat wisely. You see the value in eating local organic food and understand its positive impact on the health of our communities and families.
